Mat Flow Pilates with Christine Peh


We spend so much time everyday, sitting down at our desks and working on our computers and laptops. In the long term, our physical form and body posture suffers. Join Christine for some Mat Flow Pilates on the 13th March, Tuesday as we learn to align and center our bodies together!

About Christine:
Christine's journey into Pilates started as she was looking for a means of active rehabilitation after sustaining injuries during trail running and mountain biking. She discovered that her injuries were due to muscle imbalances, and having mild scoliosis (spinal curvature) and spending hours at her desk job further contributed to her poor posture. Pilates has been a means for her to reconnect with her body and become more aligned, centered and body aware.

Christine obtained her mat work certification after a year of mentorship through Polestar Pilates, and continues to develop her skills through regular courses. Her classes focus on developing fluent and well-controled movement, increasing core control with less tension and rigidity. She employs the use of tactile and imagery cues to facilitate proper form and improve her student's awareness of breath and mind-body connection.
She enjoys sharing her knowledge with others because being she believes that being able to move with freedom and ease enriches one's life greatly.
